About CAST (Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation)

CAST held its inaugural conference in Bali, Indonesia in 1989. Its last meeting was in Lebanon in 2009. Korea successfully hosted the 4th CAST in 1995, and once again had the honor to organize the 12th CAST in 2011. CAST aims to encourage the presentation of research results—theory and application—and promote the exchange of knowledge and information in the field of transplantation, ultimately contributing to raising the presence of Korea as a global leader in the field.
